The Asia Service is the overseas service of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, heir to the legendary All Asia Service of Radio Ceylon that once beamed Hindi film music across the Indian subcontinent on shortwave. Its online stream today is devoted largely to classic Hindi songs and South Asian melodies, continuing a broadcasting tradition that stretches back to Radio Ceylon's golden age.
