Select Radio's story mirrors London dance music itself: it began as the pirate Select UK in 2003, best known on 99.3 FM, before winning a community licence and launching legally in November 2021 on 94.4 FM, with DAB+ carriage in Norwich, Brighton and Bristol. The sound is house in all its forms — soulful, deep, disco edits — with guest mixes from names such as Above & Beyond and Roger Sanchez, championing underground talent the mainstream overlooks.
