Seeburg 1000 streams a genuine piece of twentieth-century sound history: the Seeburg 1000 Background Music Library, digitized and played around the clock. The Seeburg Corporation launched the system in 1959, supplying offices, restaurants, shops and factories with mellow instrumental music on special 16⅔ RPM vinyl records, with arrangements written specifically for the library. What you hear is that original easy-listening catalog — lush strings, soft brass and unhurried tempos — preserved exactly as businesses heard it decades ago.
