Salsa Warriors began in June 2014, when a group of fifteen DJ friends in New York decided salsa deserved a station of its own — nothing but salsa, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Live DJs across two continents spin salsa dura, salsa romántica and salsa cubana, from Fania-era classics by Héctor Lavoe, Celia Cruz and Tito Puente to new releases. The station also sponsors live salsa concerts, including summer shows in Queens' Flushing Meadows Park.
