RTÉ Gold is one of RTÉ's digital-only stations, available online, on digital radio and via Saorview rather than FM. Its format is unapologetically nostalgic: classic hits and treasured album tracks from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s, presented without the pressure of the charts. As part of the public broadcaster's digital family, Gold gives older listeners — and younger ones discovering the era — a dedicated home for the golden decades of popular music.
