Rhema is the flagship network of Rhema Media, New Zealand’s Christian broadcaster. It began full-time broadcasting on 11 November 1978 in Christchurch — the first permanent Christian station in the British Commonwealth — after a campaign led by founder Richard Berry that drew support from some 55,000 people. Now based in Newton, Auckland, Rhema programmes contemporary Christian music, teaching, interviews and talk with a focus on family, marriage and parenting, alongside sister networks Life FM and Sanctuary. This MP3 stream carries Rhema nationwide.
