Not to be confused with the French broadcaster sharing its initials, this RFI is Radio Free Iyanola, a privately owned Saint Lucian station broadcasting on 102.1 FM. From its studio in Soufrière, the historic west-coast town beneath the Pitons, it runs a 24-hour schedule built on what it calls music with a message. Community care, local information and social development sit at the heart of its mission, summed up in its slogan, «The Pulse of the Nation».
