Refuge Worldwide is a community radio station from Berlin-Neukölln, launched in January 2021 by Richard Akingbehin and George Patrick. It broadcasts from the Oona Bar on Weserstraße, where guests can watch the DJs live in the studio while underground sounds from Afro-funk to modern electronica go out worldwide. The project grew out of a fundraising platform founded in 2015 in solidarity with refugees and today also runs free workshops and training programmes, with priority for marginalised groups.
