From its one-room studio in the Raglan Town Hall, this volunteer-powered station serves the Whāingaroa–Raglan community on 98.1 FM, its signal beaming from a 100-watt transmitter in the foothills of Mt Karioi. Raglan Community Radio marked 25 years on air in 2019, and its line-up still reflects the town that made it: surf reports and environmental debate alongside reggae institutions like the Reggae Rodeo show, local interviews on the Morning Show, and community notices for one of New Zealand's most famously laid-back coastal towns.
