Radio X Classic Rock is a digital spin-off from Global's Radio X, dedicated to classic rock. Radio X itself launched in 2015, replacing London's XFM, with a guitar-led format fronted by presenters including Chris Moyles at breakfast. This sister stream narrows that identity to the established canon — stadium rock, seventies and eighties guitar bands and anthems — delivered online and via Global Player as a music-focused companion to the main station.
