Broadcasting from Mzuzu in Malawi’s Northern Region, Radio Tigabane is the community station of the Catholic Diocese of Mzuzu, officially launched on air in December 2005. It transmits on 104.0 FM and reaches districts including Mzimba, Rumphi, Nkhata Bay and Likoma, with programming mainly in Tumbuka, alongside Chichewa and English, that mixes evangelisation with social and economic development content for its largely rural audience.
