Radio Swiss Jazz is the jazz channel of SRG SSR, Switzerland's public broadcaster, and one of the three music-only services in the Radio Swiss family alongside Swiss Pop and Swiss Classic. The channels trace back to Swiss Satellite Radio, launched in 1998, and today reach listeners via DAB+, cable, satellite and online streams. Around the clock, Radio Swiss Jazz moves through the whole history of the genre — swing and bebop, cool and vocal jazz, Latin flavours and contemporary recordings — with an emphasis on quality recordings rather than talk, making it a continuous, presenter-light soundtrack for jazz lovers in Switzerland and abroad.
