This stream carries Radio Swiss Jazz, the jazz service of the Swiss public broadcaster SRG SSR, in high-quality AAC sound at 192 kbps. Part of the Radio Swiss trio that began as Swiss Satellite Radio in 1998, the station is devoted entirely to jazz in its many shades — bebop and hard bop, cool jazz, vocal standards, big bands and modern European recordings. There are no presenters and no news bulletins, just carefully sequenced music around the clock, available in Switzerland via DAB+, cable and satellite and everywhere else via the internet. This higher-bitrate feed is the version aimed at listeners who value audio quality.
