Since February 2000, Radio Paradise has stood apart from algorithmic radio: founded by Bill Goldsmith, it is listener-supported, carries no advertising, and every mix is still sequenced by a human DJ. The Mellow Mix, heard here in the fuller 128k AAC stream, is the network's softer channel — an eclectic, hand-curated flow with the emphasis on songs of a more relaxing tone, where modern and classic rock meet folk and jazz shadings. Unhurried, surprising and quietly beautiful, it is Radio Paradise with the lights lowered.
