Radio One FM 90 has been part of Kampala life since 1997, an English-language station built on the promise of 'Great Songs, Great Memories' — oldies and adult favourites aimed at urban listeners. Its talk show Spectrum is one of Uganda's longest-running discussion programmes, and its signal is strong across Kampala, Jinja, Masaka and Entebbe. In 2020 it became the first Ugandan FM station carried on the DStv audio bouquet, on channel 897.
