Radio Northsea UK revives the name of Radio North Sea International, the offshore pirate station that broadcast from the ship Mebo II in the early 1970s. This modern online service trades on that heritage with oldies and classic pop in the style of the offshore era. It is a nostalgia web channel for pirate radio enthusiasts rather than a licensed terrestrial broadcaster.
