The second Avant-Garde Jazz / Free Improvisation channel in the Radio Caprice catalogue goes where mainstream jazz stations rarely venture. Expect the free jazz breakthrough of Ornette Coleman and late-period John Coltrane, Cecil Taylor's percussive piano, Albert Ayler's ecstatic blowing and the European free-improv scene that followed. It is demanding, unpredictable music presented without commentary — one of around 500 music-only genre streams the Russian project maintains on radcap.ru.
