Radio BurgerFuel is the in-house station of New Zealand gourmet burger chain BurgerFuel, launched in 2012 and streamed live from a purpose-built studio at the company's Auckland headquarters into more than 60 stores nationwide — and to anyone listening online. The playlist is "alternative mainstream": a weekly-refreshed mix with a strong focus on New Zealand music and up-and-coming artists, reflecting the brand BurgerFuel has built since its first Ponsonby store opened in 1995. Beyond the music, the station runs artist interviews and intimate in-store performances, turning a burger run into a small gig.
