Radio Asian Air is an internet station serving the South Asian communities of Birmingham, aimed at neighbourhoods such as Sparkhill, Small Heath and Moseley in the south of the city. Its programming is built around South Asian music, entertainment and community information for listeners whose roots lie in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Broadcasting online rather than on FM, it sits within the UK's busy landscape of Asian community stations, where the emphasis stays local and familiar.
