PBS 106.7 FM is Melbourne’s beloved progressive community broadcaster, on air since 1979 and run largely by volunteers with member support. Its specialist presenters cover everything from soul, jazz and blues to metal, electronic and world music — much of it Australian and independent. The station’s annual radio festival and its championing of local live music have made it a cornerstone of Melbourne’s music culture.
