Outlaw Country Radio salutes the rebels who reshaped country music in the 1970s. Its playlist centres on the outlaw movement's spirit: raw, songwriter-driven country associated with artists who rejected Nashville polish, blended with honky-tonk, country-rock and later acts carrying the same independent streak. Expect steel guitars, story songs and a rougher edge than mainstream country radio, programmed continuously for listeners who like their country music untamed and honest.
