Outlaw – Country Music Radio is a web stream flying the flag of outlaw country, the movement that in the 1970s pushed back against Nashville polish. The spirit of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard hangs over the playlist: rough-edged honky-tonk, story songs and bar-room ballads sung by artists who insisted on recording their own way. It is a format-only channel for listeners who like their country unvarnished and a little defiant.
