Onic Alternative is the indie-leaning channel in Onic's family of digital stations, launched in 2025 after News UK rebranded its Irish audio business — Wireless Ireland and urbanmedia — as Onic. Its playlist runs through indie, post-punk and electronic-leaning tracks, organised into strands such as Alt Breakfast, Alt Afternoons and Alt Evenings. You can hear it on the FáilteDAB DAB+ trial across the broader Leinster area or streaming through the Onic Player app, alongside sister FM brands like FM104, Q102 and Cork's 96FM.
