NRG Radio Uganda broadcasts on 106.5 FM in Kampala and went live on 18 January 2023, operated by Best Broadcasting Services. It is the Ugandan sister of Kenya's NRG Radio, founded by Kevin Mulei, and imports the brand's high-energy contemporary hit format aimed squarely at young listeners. Music, celebrity culture and a heavy social-media presence drive its programming.
