Newstalk is Ireland's national talk radio station, heard across the country on 106–108 FM. It began life in Dublin in 2002 as NewsTalk 106 before expanding nationwide, and is now part of Bauer Media Audio Ireland. Its schedule is built on news, debate and sport: The Pat Kenny Show anchors the morning, while Off The Ball has become a flagship for sports fans. Around the clock, the emphasis is on conversation, interviews and breaking stories.
