If classic radio drama is your thing, Mushroom Escape is your station. It is the companion stream of Mushroom FM, the internet station launched from Wellington in 2010 by Jonathan Mosen and presented by an international team of mostly blind broadcasters — the self-styled "fun guys". Escape trades the parent station's oldies format for storytelling: vintage radio plays and comedy series, plus the family favourite Small World, a children's show of songs and tales hosted by Mosen himself. Nostalgic, gentle and proudly old-fashioned, it streams free around the clock.
