Mphate Community Radio serves Ntcheu District in Malawi’s Central Region, taking its name from Mphate, the district’s administrative centre, which sits about halfway along the road between Lilongwe and Blantyre. As a community station, its programming centres on local news, development issues and the everyday concerns of Ntcheu’s largely Ngoni farming communities.
