MPB Radio 2 is an online channel devoted to MPB — música popular brasileira, the rich tradition of Brazilian popular music. Its playlists move from bossa nova pioneers such as Tom Jobim and João Gilberto through tropicália and samba to modern greats like Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque and Elis Regina. As a second stream in the MPB Radio family, it offers a deeper cut of Brazil's songbook: acoustic, poetic and timeless music for listeners who want to explore one of the world's great popular music cultures online.
