Merge 104.8 arrived in 2011 as SABCO Media's English-language station for Oman, promising a cool, contemporary vibe with a local flavour. Its playlist trades in nostalgia, weaving the best-loved songs of the 80s and 90s together with today's favourites. Aimed at both Omani and expatriate listeners, it rounds out SABCO's trio alongside Al Wisal and Virgin Radio Oman.
