From Tarkwa in the Western Region, Medeamaa FM broadcasts on 92.9 FM to the Tarkwa-Nsuaem mining community. The station mixes local news and sport — including close coverage of Tarkwa’s Medeama SC — with community programming, and it has organised blood-donation exercises in support of the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital Blood Bank.
