LMFM is the local station for Louth and Meath, broadcasting from Drogheda since 1989 and now part of the Onic group owned by News UK & Ireland. On 95.5 and 95.8 FM it reaches from the edge of Dublin to the Northern Ireland border, describing itself as the largest local station outside Dublin and Cork. The schedule mixes music with a strong local newsroom, talk and extensive sport — from Drogheda United and Dundalk FC to Meath and Louth GAA — keeping the north-east connected to its own stories.
