Limerick's Live 95 launched on 6 November 1997 as New 95fm, taking over after Limerick 95 lost its licence — and fittingly, its first song was 'Dreams' by Limerick's own Cranberries. It broadcasts on 95.0 FM in the city and 95.3 FM from Newcastle West, from Radio House on Dock Road. Rebranded as Live 95 in February 2019 under the slogan 'Limerick's Best Music Mix', the station — now part of News UK's Onic group — is heard weekly by almost half of Limerick's adults, with shows including Breakfast with Mark and Catriona and the Limerick Today Show with Joe Nash.
