Kuwala FM is the Catholic radio station of the Archdiocese of Blantyre, established in July 2020 as Malawi’s fifth Catholic radio station. Its name comes from the Chichewa word for light, and it broadcasts under the slogan “Light of the world” in English and Chichewa. The station focuses on evangelisation and the pastoral life of the archdiocese, which is home to more than 2.5 million Christians.
