KUAA 99.9 FM is a low-power community station in Salt Lake City, owned by the Utah Arts Alliance — its call letters are the Alliance's initials. On air at 100 watts and streaming worldwide, it specialises in musical, cultural and linguistic diversity: multilingual programming, local arts coverage and volunteer DJs playing everything from global grooves to Friday-night funk and soul, straight out of the UAA's downtown arts hub.
