This is KEXP's high-quality AAC stream, carrying the same broadcast as Seattle's 90.3 FM at 160K. The station began as the University of Washington's KCMU in 1972 — famously among the first to air Nirvana and Soundgarden — and relaunched as KEXP in 2001 with support from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. Expect DJ-chosen indie and alternative, genre specialists at night, and the live in-studio performances that fill its celebrated video archive.
