KBYS 88.3 FM in Lake Charles, Louisiana is McNeese State University's non-commercial community station, on air since 15 May 2014. Students and community volunteers power a format built on classic hits and rock from the late 1960s through the 1980s, alongside specialty shows spanning swamp pop, indie and electronic dance music.
