KBC is the radio service of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, the state broadcaster whose roots reach back to Kenya's first English broadcasts in 1928. From Nairobi it runs national services in English and Kiswahili — the English Service and Radio Taifa — alongside regional stations broadcasting in most of Kenya's local languages.
