This Just Jazz channel is devoted entirely to Billie Holiday, the American singer (1915–1959) whose phrasing reshaped jazz vocals. From her early sides with Teddy Wilson to the late, weathered recordings on Verve, it plays nothing but Lady Day — standards like "Strange Fruit" and "God Bless the Child" in a non-stop online stream.
