Jacaranda FM first went on air at midnight on 1 January 1986 from Pretoria, named for the jacaranda trees that line the city’s streets. Now part of Kagiso Media, the bilingual English and Afrikaans station broadcasts on 94.2 and across the 93.9–97.1 FM range, covering Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and the North West with hit music, and it is home to the Good Morning Angels community initiative.
