J-Pop Sakura is asia DREAM radio's nostalgia channel — 'sakura' here stands for the J-pop of years gone by. Rather than chasing this week's charts, it plays the Japanese pop classics of the Showa and Heisei eras: idol hits, kayōkyoku favourites and the songs a generation grew up with. A gentle, wistful counterpoint to the network's current-hits channels.
