Part of the asia DREAM radio network, J-Pop Powerplay Kawaii is the family's girl-group channel: back-to-back idol pop built around acts such as AKB48, Momoiro Clover Z, Morning Musume, °C-ute and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. The emphasis is on the bright, high-energy 'kawaii' side of J-pop — synchronised hooks, sparkling production and choruses designed to be sung along to. It sits alongside the network's Japan Hits, J-Rock and nostalgia channels as the cutest corner of the line-up.
