Irish Pub Radio does exactly what its name suggests: it recreates the sound of a great Irish pub session, streaming Irish folk and ballads 24 hours a day to pubs and listeners around the world. Based in the heart of Ireland, it draws on a huge collection of story-songs — The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, The Pogues, The Wolfe Tones and Mary Black — mixed with sing-along favourites old and new. Its motto, 'The Stories are in our Songs', captures a station built for the diaspora and for anyone who loves Ireland's ballad tradition.
