HPR4 Bluegrass Gospel, a channel of the Heartland Public Radio web network, pairs two traditions that grew up together in America's mountain churches. Banjo, mandolin and fiddle drive songs of faith sung in close harmony — bluegrass instrumentation carrying gospel lyrics. It is front-porch worship music, streamed for listeners who like their praise with a high, lonesome sound.
