House Music Radio is a web-only station devoted to house music, the electronic dance genre that emerged from Chicago clubs in the mid-1980s and took hold in Britain during the acid house boom of 1988. Broadcasting continuously online, it mixes classic house, deep house and more commercial dancefloor tracks. The service is built for streaming listeners who want a single-genre dance station rather than a mixed-format broadcast programme schedule.
