Lusaka hears its mornings start with the Red Hot Breakfast on Hot FM, the commercial station broadcasting on 87.7 FM from the capital. Hosted in recent years by Hope Chishala and Chi Msimuko, the breakfast show mixes topical phone-ins with the African and Zambian music that fills most of the schedule, alongside news, sport and talk aimed at a young urban audience.
