Hip Hop 313 takes its name from Detroit's 313 area code and devotes its stream to hip-hop. The rotation mixes current rap hits with the genre's essentials, carrying a Detroit identity — the city of Eminem, J Dilla and a deep underground scene — in its branding. It is a web-only, music-first channel for listeners who want rap and hip-hop without interruption.
