Heart 80s is Global's digital celebration of the 1980s, launched on 14 March 2017 as a sister station to Heart. Broadcasting nationally on DAB and through Global Player, it plays the decade's defining pop — Madonna, Michael Jackson, George Michael and Duran Duran — with presenters drawn from the Heart family. It was among the first of Global's decade spin-offs, later joined by Heart 70s, Heart 90s and Heart Dance, letting Heart listeners stay in one era all day.
