Akure's newest voice on the dial arrived with fanfare on 21 February 2024, when Glow 99.1 FM was commissioned in the Ondo State capital. Founded by Dr Ezekiel Kayode Akande with the promise of being «a voice to the voiceless», the station broadcasts from Ijapo Estate, mixing Afrobeats, hip-hop and R&B with news, talk shows and strong community programming.
