Gem Radio New Wave is an online channel dedicated to the new wave era — the synth-driven pop and angular guitar sounds that bridged punk and the mainstream between the late 1970s and mid-1980s. Part of the Gem Radio family of internet channels, it strings together favourites from the period around the clock, from electronic pioneers to indie trailblazers. Broadcasting in English over the web, it is a nostalgia trip for those who lived it and a discovery channel for everyone else.
