GEM New Wave Radio is an online channel from the Gem Radio family dedicated to the new wave era. It revisits the sound of the late 1970s and 1980s, when punk's energy collided with synthesizers and sharp pop songwriting: expect Depeche Mode, The Cure, Talking Heads, Blondie and Duran Duran alongside deeper cuts from the post-punk years. Streaming around the clock, it is a specialist stop for listeners who love angular guitars, icy synths and the stylish, alternative side of eighties music.
